TestimonialsHoward & Scott, Just wanted to drop you a quick note and picture from our trip on July 28th. My goal was to get my wife, Risa, interested and hopefully excited about fishing. That's why we focused on the smaller more abundant game. Fortunately, after recovering from her seasickness, she managed to catch about 6 small ahi and aku including some on a fly rod. Now she talks about wanting to go fishing again. Mission accomplished. Howard did a great job taking care of her and showing us a very good time. We'll be sure to recommend you to our friends. Thank you very much. Best regards, Some of you know I just got back from Kauai. Needless to say the island is absolutely beautiful. I went on a Sportsman fishing boat out in the deep "BLUE" sea. Wild adventure that is. We were able to catch around 6 mahi/mahi-in addition to 2 tuna we used as bait. Really it's the captain and crew that do the work, but you have to reel the fish in that they bait and hook. The crew was fabulous, as well as very experienced. Gives you a whole new perspective on fishing with someone who knows what they are doing... Ha! A few pics to share of my fish.... Notice the sequence. My daughter caught the little Tuna that caught the big one(both times). Of course, the husband had to get a picture too, he has to tell all his friends "he caught the big one," when really I did or for that matter the crew did :-) We have had this one mounted and trophied to display in our living room... again, great big "FISH STORIES" will accompany the story told by my husband. Great on the BBQ, best fish I have had in my life. (Thanks Howard for the cooking tip!) Truly a great day out on the beautiful sea of Kauai.

Jennifer Putnam Hi Scott
Just a note to let you know that my mount is securely attached to my wall, and is a daily reminder of that one very special trip I took with you on Lahela that morning of March 2, 2004. I am glad that I opted for the fishing trip instead of the bicycle ride down the mountain as I really have something to show for it. Capt. Howard, and Capt. Darrin, thank you for making my trip one of a lifetime. I'm still not convinced that 8-10 ft. waves are "moderate", though. If I ever get back to Kauai, which I hope to, I will want to take another trip on "Lahela".... Lou Piatt
